staff was great, hotel was very clean, in fun environment with lots of social activities

bar downstairs was very loud until 2 am when we had to gwet up early to travel. Very disruptive with terrrible 80's music

Staff was great, very close to Nelos Pavilion - walking distance which was very nice. Lots of night life, museums and plenty to do as a kid, teen or adult, Went for show and was fun. The hotel was clean, felt new (it had just recently been remodeled) and convenient to our needs.

It was located in a section of Portsmouth that is undergoing renewal. It is making a contribution to growth.

There was a wonderful Old feel about the hotel that gave it a neat ambience. The staff was very friendly and accomidating and the food in the restuarant at breakfast was terrific. The chef even Highly recommended three restaurants for dinner that we nationall rated. The room and bed was very comfortable and easy to regulate as to coolness and warmth. Great staff, old style architecture, wonderful breakfast.

There is a great guy in the breakfast room who makes everyone feel special. He is also very familiar with fine dining in Portsmouth and showed us the menu for his dining room at night - wish we had also eaten there on Saturday night - but we didn't meet him until Sunday morning. ...read more

Close to Old Town and Water. Easy access from Expressway.

Uncomfortable chair in room. Spent several evenings in room. Only chair/bad.

Was what we expected. Lost power one night. I was stuck in elevator for approximately 45 minutes. Later we were unable to get to our room because magnetic security device, on hall access (to our room) was not working.
